BAGeL Radio birthday party at Bottom of the Hill THIS FRIDAY!

I know a lot of you have been laying awake at night just WONDERING when you might get a chance to have a stiff drink with me, and spend some quality time listening to the sweet, healing sound of LIVE MUSIC! If not that, then maybe you just need to be getting out of the house more and appreciating SF’s kick ass music scene?

Well…. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! :)

BAGeL Radio‘s 5th birthday party is happening at Bottom of the Hill on Friday (tomorrow night!), and not only will my awesome friend Ted, of BAGel Radio, be DJ’ing in between sets – but Peloton (SF), Lemon Sun (LA), and Audio Out Send (Oakland) are there to play for you. Yes YOU. I’m particularly excited about Lemon Sun, as I’ve seen them before & have been looking forward to seeing them again for awhile now. You know, in case you were wondering. :)

 

Oh & another reason I’m really excited – and why you should come – is Misty‘s making cupcakes!! And let me tell you, that woman knows her cupcakes!

Cocktails, DJ BAGel Ted, cupcakes and live music, all at one of my favorite venue’s in town – HOT DAMN!

Woo! Can you tell I’m starting to actually have a social life again? After being super sick & then being on a major contract for the last few weeks, I’ve finally managed to get my workaholic ass out of the house for a some fun times with friends. yay!

This weekend’s grand events included going to my brother & sister-in-law’s baby shower in Santa Cruz, and then Saturday night we all threw a huge party for our sweet Jessyjess who is moving to DC! *sniff* But it’s for her dream job, so it’s awesome for her and we’re friends FOR LIFE and plan to travel to lots of fun places together, so somehow that makes it ok. ;)

UPDATE: We had a final going away lunch, the day before she flew out… it was so fun, but obviously very bittersweet! *sniff* We miss her already! Anyway, here are photos from that day.

I’m alive, I’ve just been getting over the worst cold I’ve had in a couple years. Feeling better day by day though, it just feels like it’s taking sooooo long. But that’s only because drinking tea, laying low and watching movies for days on end is so not my lifestyle. I just want to be healthy already!

Hope you’ve been healthy & that you had a wonderful holiday and NYE! I’ll blog more soon, when I actually do something exciting.

Wowzers, what a busy holiday season it’s been! In the last 9 days I’ve had 3 different events: Readymade’s Winter Ball & Gift Bizarre, Mission Indie Mart’s Shop Local & Bazaar Bizarre’s San Francisco event that was SO huge & awesome!!

All of them have been so fun, especially because I get to hear people’s reactions to my designs in person! That, and a ton of my friends stop by, there’s usually great music playing, and at some of them there’s even cocktails. Aww yaa, tis’ the season!
