As per usual, I saw a LOT of amazing bands in Austin this year! I’ve been wanting to do a writeup about all of them, with links & videos, etc… but I have to be honest with myself that the longer I wait, the greater the possibility that it will never get done. So, sorry this isn’t full of fancy hyperlinks & such… but so that it’s DONE, here are a few quick lists of the bands I saw:

New bands and/or shows I absolutely loved:

Several more (probably some that I saw, that I’m forgetting), but at least this post is here, and maybe I can continue editing it as they come to mind. Keep in mind there are photos of all of these, and even some videos, in the link below.

This year I wasn’t as hard core about music as I’ve been in the past… meaning I didn’t kill myself to get to every single show, and did more rolling with it & chillin’ with friends. Goes without saying, it was super fun. :)
