had fantabulous weekend

had a fantabulous weekend – dinner parties, nice walks, mateo’s banana pecan pancakes *yummm*, friends D&E over w/ precious baby marissa, and the oscars.

Oh – and today the newest site I designed for Fine Brand Media, went live! Check it out: BrassRingSystems.com. Many kudos to our incredible staff & teamwork on the production!! Really my first major corporate website re-design…. pretty amazing. Did the flash too (obviously) :)

Any of you using Fireworks 4? Are you noticing when you resize your vector graphics they get pixely (like it’s smoothing) around the edges & dont stay straight. well it sucks – please let me know if you are experiencing this. most of the time you have to redraw the graphic!

HEY!!!! Train’s new CD is about to be heeeeeeere! You can preorder it off of Tower Records & receive a limited edition Drops Of Jupiter lyric booklet… pretty cool – if you’re into that kind of thing. So hey all you out there! You diggin the blogger or what?! I’ve been laughin cuz my friends will call & say – “SO you went up to Tahoe boardin, huh? – cool!” But I admit when they then ask “How was it?” I couldn’t help but say – “uh…. you probably already know how it was, huh?” :) For the record it wasn’t all me bitchin about the damn rental place screwin’ up – Matty & I had some very nice meals and overall super yummy time together away from our life and the constant arranging and organizing of our new flat – and that’s always good :)

alright – time for me to go home now – but first to go sweat a bit at the gym so I dont freak out on someone cuz I’ve been sittin in one place all day WORKING!!!!!!

tahoe was fun but…

Tahoe was fun – but gawd am I tired of renting my gear!! When you grow up with a gorgeous mountain in your backyard and all you have to do is roll out of bed, put your gear on & grab your season pass, it’s a bit hard to endure the 5 hour commute (hectic traffic on friday nights) to Tahoe – all to deal with renting gear and having to learn a whole new mountain (for me it was new, I’d just boarded Alpine & Heavenly before)… The kicker was the damn rental place – even tho’ I told em twice I needed it mounted goofy they mounted me regular and I didn’t double check till we were up to the top. My bad really, but I told them TWICE!!! So – I had to cruise down backwards on this damn lefty mounted board – (kinda tweak my leg somehow) – praying some cool boarder had a screwdriver to remount my bindings…. *jeeeeeshk!* – so got up to the top again by about 1:30, (by that time it was definitely time for a cold beer on the deck) – and then made it in for a few runs before the clouds set in too thick.

Anywayzzz….. Beautiful day yesterday & today! We went on a huge hunt for a slipcover for our free loveseat… wooo hooo.. and that’s my sweetie watchin sports :)

my sweetie mateo is outta town

My sweetie, Mateo, is outta town this weekend, so I’ve been doing some SERIOUS geekin out in front of my computer. but, sick as it is… I love it. However, he just called to say goodnight & I realize that now it’s after midnight and I have got to get off this computer & chill a bit.
eat. sleep. get up & get back on ;) …….for fun late night surfing….. I highly recommend Heavy.com

Note: This is my very first post using Blogger! And, sadly, the oldest blog post of mine I can find. However, before Blogger, I had been hand-coding my own “blog” updates on my website – literally with HTML via FTP – for about a year or so.

I created my first website on Homestead in 1997, mostly with scans of my illustrations. The first domain I registered was SillyWill.com, as back then I would often publish things under Willo’s World or Sillywillo. :p

I registered WilloToons.com on March 28, 2000 and the rest is history!
