Come have a beer w/ us @ 12 Galaxies this Sunday!

Stop by 12 Galaxies for the Mission Indie-Mart this Sunday. There’ll be some rockin’ indie music, one-of-a-kind fashions and tasty BBQ! I will have all my super fun WilloToons tees, onesies & bibs there for sale AND I have a slew of new jewelry designs (not even on my site yet) I’m really excited about, too.

This Sunday, October 28th, 2007, 12-5pm – FREE!
2565 Mission @ 22nd Street

12 Galaxies is one of my favorite venues in the Mission, so I know this event is going to be a blast. Come buy a gift for yourself or a friend & have a beer with us!

Awesome! I just found this great panoramic virtual tour of Willie McCovey Park (click to see the whole thing!)…. This is my view every morning at BootCamp! Beautiful huh!?

Today kicked my ass. In a good way, but oof. I thought I was going to be sick near the end of it. I’m drinking lots of water today!!

It’s so nice out here lately… not sure what’s up with that, but I love it! It’s wild to hear that it’s snowing in my hometown (Steamboat, CO), and here I’m sitting in a tshirt & shorts in my house with the windows open. Aaah, how I love you SF.

misty & ted’s rock ‘n roll wedding @ GAMH!

View the photos!

My kick ass friends Ted & Misty got married last Saturday night!

I had done the custom illustration for their wedding invitation and it was such a fun job. You know it’s a rockin’ couple when the feedback was like ‘make ted’s hair spikier, have him wearing converse & put in his earrings, and show my tatoo.’ haha

The image above was used for stickers (pasted on the earplug case that everyone got on their VIP badge!) and placed on black converse for all the guys! They’re SUCH rockstars.

2nd annual punkin carving girls night!

Last night Aubrey hosted our 2nd Annual Punkin Carving Girls Night! We had wine & pizza and talked about boys. Duh. That’s what girls do! hah

View all of my (iPhone) photos (more from the Canon to come at some point) & Aubrey’s photoset. UPDATE: And now Sharon’s too!

Here’s the last couple years of hallowed out creations:

As for my hosting company, Dreamhost? They can suck it. I am switching to Media Temple as soon as I find help in moving over my 15GB of IMAP email & 13+ domains I’ve accumulated (in fervent loyalty) on Dreamhost the last several years. The whole thing kind of makes me want to cry. Or bite down on lemons really really hard until I get me some lemonade.

ride of my life

I work with a group of teen writers every week, and every once & awhile our editor (my co-facilitator) will lead us in a writing exercise. I don’t really consider myself much of a writer, so when I actually do write something, it’s fun to see what comes out. Here’s what I wrote last time:

ride of my life

sparkly lights twinkle as
the laughter echoes through

cachunk, cachunk, cachunk

this hot summer night
is like the ride of my life

traveling fast through the air
and back down again

cachunk, cachunk, cachunk

I see cotton candy smiles
and escape into the high

that is bound to leave me
dizzy and sick

I finally sent out an announcement email* about my shop a few weeks ago. Yes, 5 months later. haha. Hey, I’ve been busy! :p

* Check it out here, in all it’s HTML glory.

Seriously though, I just had a lot of stuff I wanted to have fixed up in the store & ready before it’s ‘major’ launch to the world. Which is kinda dumb in hindsight, but whatevs. I’m learning! :)

Just in case you were wondering though? It’s ready. And now you can (and should) officially post about it and tell everyone you know! Every little bit helps… so maybe just send it to 5 friends? Add it to your del.icio.us or ma.gnolia stream? Digg it? Also notice that on the right hand nav/column on all the pages in the shop “Email this page to a friend” link that allows you to send the particular page you’re on instantly! Ah, technology.

Also if you all know of any magazine/newspaper/online zine editors, etc, send them my way! I am getting interviewed on SFist soon, and any other opportunities like that would be awesome. I’m trying to get this little puppy off the ground!

Likewise my #1 focus now is to get my apparel into stores, so if you have any stores (know any store owners?) you think should definitely carry cute WilloToons tees or baby stuff, please send them my way and I’ll send them out a catalogue & price sheet.

Not on the WilloToons list yet? Keep in mind I plan to send out some holiday discount codes, so be sure to sign up on the WilloToons mailing list to be notified! Beyond discounts you’ll also get to hear about any new products/sizes/styles/designs, events & more. woohoo!

Thanks for all your support everyone!

Ali was my awesome helper throughout the day, and we were stoked to have so many great friends stop by! I wish I would have gotten a photo of every single one, as I think I probably saw a good 40 some friends, a couple of which I hadn’t seen in years! So cool!

Thank you all for coming out & showing your enthusiasm & support…it meant so much to me to have your hugs & smiling faces there!

Also, please let me know if you snapped any photos. Unfortunately my computer didn’t like this batch (I think my camera is dying), and so somehow out of the original 20 I downloaded, I could only salvage these: view flickr photo album.

To everyone who was there and/or may have missed it, please note: This was the 2nd of a couple events I have coming up in the next month or so, and it’d be great to see you at the next one!
