Feel like taking a little Craftcation?

Craftcation Conference logo

Craftcation is an indie business & DIY conference for professionals with an art, craft or food-centered small business. The three-day conference takes place in Ventura, CA on March 22-25, 2012 – just in time to kick off the summer! Attendees will enjoy DIY workshops centered around getting your creativity flowing and enjoying a craftcation! The conference will also hold many panel discussions with a wide range of “how-to’s” catered toward the crafting entrepreneur.

Panels will cover such topics as indie business start up or expansion, maximizing social media, branding, selling at craft shows and on Etsy, merchandising, accounting, legal issues, wholesale and more. Craftcation attendees will have the opportunity to learn the inside track of starting, maintaining or expanding their indie business while networking with peers/professionals and gaining skills in hands-on workshops.

Craftication is brought to you by Delilah Snell and Nicole Stevenson, co-producers of Patchwork Indie Art & Craft Festival (a bi-annual Southern California event showcasing emerging artists, crafters and designers). Craftcation is sure to deliver the perfect balance of work and play: attendees will enjoy yoga, cocktails, networking, crafting, business advice, and art tours around Ventura! Pairing creativity with business is something I’m very passionate about. After all, it’s what I do all day long with Stitch Labs! Our goal at Stitch is to help fellow creatives streamline their business, and save them time so they can focus on what they’re best at: creating! Craftcation is another awesome resource for creative small business owners to learn, grow, and have fun.

“Our objective is to ignite the entrepreneurial business spirit and strengthen skills and abilities of seasoned business owners and newcomers to indie craft business. This is an opportunity to network, communicate and share…”
