Monday was Samara’s bday, so Max & Samara came up to the city & met Baillie, me & Samara’s friend Jamille @ Emmy’s for a yummy dinner!

Then the next morning we had breakfast at Boogaloos & then went to deal w/ their broken down van (was a bummer, but they worked it out).

Great seeing you guys, as always, and Happy Birthday Samara!! xo :)

David & Elana (and their 2 kiddos, Marissa & Zach) had me over for dinner on Sunday night. David’s friend Mark was also in town from Boston, so he joined us as well.

I’ve been really busy.

Last week I worked really hard. So by the time I left the house Thursday night, I was pretty stoked. I went to the fancy, reservation only speakeasy, Bourbon & Branch, for the first time with Buzz (who had the res & invited us – thanks Buzz!), Ali, Jess, Ryan & Cam.

However, because I’d been working so hard, I was tired & went home relatively early.

Friday night started with Baillie coming over to my house for dinner. I was stoked because we sat at my new kitchen table for the first time! (Meaning, the first time I’ve used it for dining, not just crafts.) I’m stoked to finally have a table to entertain around! I need to have the girls over next.

After that we went & picked up B’s friend and headed over to meet Ali, Misty & some of Misty’s old co-workers at this fancy place downtown (that Misty had picked out), called Le Colonial. It was interesting in the “uh…who are these people?” kinda way, but whatever, the drinks were pretty tasty and the music wasn’t all that bad. However, it goes w/o saying that I was pretty stoked when we all decided to hit a bar that’s much more my style (uh, except for those asstastic rope lines they’ve got goin on Fri & Sat nights. WTF?).

Anyway, somehow after closing that down, we thought it was a good idea to have an after party. aww yaaa! After parties are pretty much always a good idea, right? Because, uhh… why not? :) So off to Ali’s we went. But not before an expensive trip to the liquor store beforehand. Someone take my credit card away from me, OK?
